Top Ten Tuesday
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This weeks topic in honor of Jamie’s wedding this week on the 17th is Top Ten Book Romances That You Think Would Make It In The Real World (outside the book).
Young Adult protagonist are just so young, it’s often hard to believe that as they grow and change they’ll stick together so most of my choice are adult couples. In particular I think characters that understand and respect each other would work in real life – and love of course!

6. Lan and Nynaeve – Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan
7. Ivy and Mad Machen – Here There Be Monsters by Meljean Brook
8. Howl and Sophie – Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
9. Sophie and Banalt – Scandal by Carolyn Jewel
10. Anne Elliott and Frederick Wentworth – Persuasion by Jane Austen
Jane and Mr Rochester! Ah, they would be so cute together. And I want to be their neighbour.

I have not yet managed to read Anna and the French Kiss! And they are on a lot of this week’s TTT. I will have to get involved!
Anna and the French Kiss is a great book. The hero St. Clair is wow!

I adored the book first but the movie is so well done.
I had Perrin and Faile on my list. I considered Lan and Nynaeve (and no doubt they will Stick it Out because of Ms. Stubborn and Angry), but I just like the couple of Perrin and Faile better. He doesn’t give two hoots if the world goes to hell in a handbasket if he can’t have Faile!
Ha. Lan couldn’t get away from Nynaeve even if he wanted to! I considered Perrin and Faile but I’ve never really liked her so I just couldn’t add them.

Awesome list! I definitely agree with your pick of Katniss and Peeta. I really want to pick up a copy of Anna and the French Kiss. I feel like I’m the only one who hasn’t read it yet!
I really like your list! There’s a few books I’m not familiar with like Anna and the French Kiss, but I’ve seen that on a lot of lists and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! And I didn’t even realize Howl’s Moving Castle was a book! I loved the movie, so the book is probably even better!
Everybody has been picking Anna and St. Clair. I have yet to read that one and I feel like I missed out. Love your list!
Yes to Anna and Charles. I’ve actually started liking the Alpha and Omega series a little more than the Mercy Thompson series. But I haven’t read any of the other books in your list. I’ll have to take your word on the rest of the couples…

With all the Anna and the French Kiss mentions I’ve seen this week I think it’s one that I’m going to have to read.
Oh I love the Alpha and Omega series! So many people like Mercy Thompson but I think that Charles and Ana are awesome! I also enjoy all of the Arcrane Society books. So glad that I found another person that enjoys them.
