Q: Best Cover? What is the best cover of a book that you’ve read and didn’t like?

I don’t always remember covers but The Girl in the Steel Corset stands out. The cover is  beautiful and I adore the striking red dress. I really like the steampunk elements and little metal details. Unfortunately for me, the story didn’t match the beauty of the cover. I found the story within a little predictable and I didn’t like the characters. I’m all about the characters. 🙂

My best cover/disappointing read has not occurred yet. Best for best would have to be Lauren Destafano’s Wither. Nice meeting you today.

I do think that cover is beautiful, but agree that a character driven novel is the best. Too bad that book didn’t deliver the cover’s promise!

Oh no! But I was really looking forward to reading this book! Hmmm… Maybe I’ll approach it with caution once I’ve gone through my other TBRs… Thanks!

I looove this cover and that alone *almost* got me to read this book – then the reviews of fellow bloggers started coming in and I just don’t think it’d be worth the reading time when so many of you guys didn’t enjoy it. 🙂
